Finding Carter is MTV's newest show and I absolutely love it! The show follows Carter Stevens, who was abducted at three years old and has been living with her kidnapper ever since. Once Carter and a couple friends go to a shut down carousel, they get caught by the police. As she's the last one in the police station, they begin to tell her about her abduction and her real parents soon arrive to pick her up.
Once Carter arrives home, she begins to completely dislike her new surroundings, especially her conservative mother. As time progresses though, her mind begins to change completely. She's still debating whether or not she made the right decision to stay with her real parents or go back to her "mother" Lori Stevens.
This is my favorite show at the moment and I definitely recommend it! This show comes on every Tuesday at 10:00 PM. on MTV. See down below for my inspired character looks. Enjoy!
Carter Stevens/Linden Wilson
Carter Stevens or Linden Wilson is the main character of the show, played by Kathryn Prescott. When we meet Carter, she's very rebellious and has a close relationship with her "mother". As the show progresses, Carter begins to warm up to her family and her personality begins to mature as she really starts to care for her new family.
Carter's style is not as rebellious as she seems, it's actually very laid back, but really fashionable and easy to achieve. Carter loves hoodies, parkas, sweaters, jeans, bold skirts, layered necklaces, boots, and sneakers. See down below for my take.
Taylor Wilson
Taylor is Carter's twin sister and when we meet her, she is the most responsible out of the two, she is played by Anna Jacoby-Heron. As the show progresses, she begins to break out of her good girl shell and finds herself liking Max (a friend of her's and Carter's).
Taylor's style matches her personality completely. She dresses very preppy, with a hint of girly. She loves collared tops, flirty dresses, button-up cardigans, and sneakers.
Crash
Crash is currently Carter's boyfriend and has had quite a troubled life, he is played by Caleb Ruminer. He is known for selling drugs and several offences from the police, he is definitely the bad boy of the show, though has a soft spot in his heart for Carter.
Like Crash's personality, he has a bad boy style. He is typically seen wearing flannels, coats, plain tee shirts, jeans, and motorcycle boots or sneakers. See down below for my inspired set.
Bird
Bird is Carter's only girl friend besides her sister, she is played by Vanessa Morgan. Bird's personality is very sweet and upbeat, though she does have her demons. As she recalled in the episode titled 'Now You See Me', she was hurt and scared by a man in a dark mask. Bird's parents tend to leave her by herself in her house a lot.
Bird's style is definitely my favorite. Her style is very trendy and slightly bohemian. She loves slouchy cardigans, dresses, acid wash jeans, beanies, platform boots, and bright colored nails (as shown above).
