Fashion in rock and roll has gone on for a very long time and is still going strong to this day. With women now becoming more into the rock and roll business, their style emulates a rock star goddess. These women are strong, powerful, and have made incredible music. They've followed in the footsteps of other female singers such as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts or The Runaways or even Debbie Harry in Blondie. Sky Ferreira
Sky Ferreira has become one of my favorite artists of the year. Her music is amazing and a mixture of 80's pop with 90's rock. Her album 'Night Time, My Time' is killer and her voice is amazing. Sky has brought back the grunge and rock and roll of 90's and even before that, with her music and style. Sky's street style is very grunge, but knows how to dress up for a special event. She has a beautiful face natural and beautified with makeup. Her hair ranges from all colors and she looks stunning with every dye.
Taylor Momsen
Taylor Momsen first started out as Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl and is now a rock star touring with her band The Pretty Reckless. Her band's latest album 'Going to Hell' has amazing tracks and fabulous lyrics. Taylor's style when she first started out included a lot of lingerie and oversized band muscle tees. But, as well as her music, her style has matured. She still sticks to her black, white, and leather but in a mature and sort old rock and roll way.
Hayley Williams
Hayley Williams is the beautiful and bright colored hair lead singer of Paramore with Jeremy Davis and Taylor York. Their music has a rock sound with a hint of pop. I've been a fan of their music for as long as I can remember and I'm so happy they're finally getting their props and recognition. This past year, the band released their self-titled fourth album and it's absolutely amazing. I am in love with Hayley's style. It's very rock and geek chic and reminds me of a modern day Kurt Cobain. She has such a beautiful face and her makeup always accentuates her high cheekbones and flawless complexion. (I won't even get started on her hair, amazing!)
Demi Lovato
I've been following Demi Lovato since she started out on Disney Channel and seen her evolve into a beautiful young woman. She's had many struggles in life and fought through them like a warrior (pun intended) and she's strong till this day. Her new hit song 'Really Don't Care' featuring Cher Lloyd has been my summer anthem. Demi's style is very rock chic and edgy with a hint of glamour. Her hair, like Hayley's, is always very bright and colorful and I'm absolutely in love with it.
